Week 4 Prompt Post: Observing Community Eta Kappa Nu

The community that I observe in Michigan State University is called Eta Kappa Nu, although it is not a community for mechanical engineering but for electrical and computer science, it is related to using computer to build programs which is also a part of mechanical engineering job, so I think that I can post this observation as my prompt post for this week.
Eta Kappa Nu is the International Honor Society for Electrical and Computer Engineers as It says on the introduction page. As I observe, it is a club which is full of elites in engineering field. Most of members are junior or senior students, and also some of them are graduate students. The goal of this club is to let these honor students get promote, it provides information and tutoring for people and also they provide helps for undergraduate programs.
As the benefits of joining in the Eta Kappa Nu club, other than getting tutoring and helps on undergraduate programs, I think that if you can be an active member in the club, the other members will not only help you on programs, but also on social services, presentation even job opportunity for the best companies. People you know in the club are all elites, they may help you a lot in the future.
I strongly encourage those who can achieve their requirements and willing to succeed to join the club, it is valuable.
