Week 4 Free Post: Video Games In Mechanical Engineer

Is Mechanical Engineer boring and hard? I think most people will say yes if they are crazy. I d like to say yes as my response as well, however, for this week’s post, I can show you a interesting part of mechanical engineer, which is the thing that everybody likes it, video game.
As the introduction of this video says, students play video games to study mechanical engineer happens in North Illinois University. They drive cars in the program to test their design. As the video shows, there are a lot of situations, like car crash and speed decreases when another vehicle passing by. Anyway, it is a fun program and there is a guy specific introduce what they are testing in the program, go see for you self if you are interested in it.
Although we don’t have such a class for engineering students in Michigan State University, the EGR 100 has lego robot project for engineering students which I think has so much fun. The assignment is to let engineering students build lego robots and have competition on speed, in order to win the competition, students should design the appearance of their robot to make the robot lighter and easy to catch the box, also students need to build their program carefully so that no errors will happen to robots. I think the benefits of this project are to let students enjoy learning engineer and give them freedom to let them design. I think we can open more class like this so students won’t complain about boring and difficulties on engineer.
